When heading to JR Kitashinchi Station（JR北新地駅）from Umeda Station on the Subway Midosuji Line（御堂筋線梅田駅）, it is convenient to use Minami Gate of Umeda Station (If you start from the platform, head for Exit 11-18).
It takes about 9 minutes from Minami Gate of Umeda Station to JR Kitashinchi Station.

Transfer at Umeda Station of the Subway Midosuji Line to JR Kitashinchi Station
The details are as follows:
After getting out of Minami Gate of Umeda Station on the Subway Midosuji Line, turn right.
Keep going straight about 100 meters.
After the JR Kitashinchi Station sign, turn left.
Passing in front of Department Gate of Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station, keep going straight.
You will enter Circular Plaza （円形広場）of Diamor Osaka.
After crossing Circular PLaza of Diamor Osaka, go diagonally forward right.
Keep going straight, and you will see the JR Kitashinchi Station sign in front, as shown in the photo above.
If you turn right, West Gate of JR Kitashinchi Station will come into view, and if you turn left, East Gate will come into view.
