When heading to Higashi-Umeda Station on the Subway Tanimachi Line（谷町線東梅田駅） from JR Osaka Station（JR大阪駅）, it is convenient to use Midosuji Gate （御堂筋口改札） of JR Osaka Station.
It takes about 10 minutes from Midosuji Gate of JR Osaka Station to Higashi-Umeda Station.

Transfer at JR Osaka Station to Higashi-Umeda Station on the Subway Tanimachi Line
The details are as follows:
After getting out of Midosuji Gate, head to the escalator diagonally forward right.
After getting off the escalator, turn left.
Passing in front of Naka-Kita-Nishi Gate of Umeda Subway Station, keep going straight about 20 meters.
After passing in front of Naka-Kita-Higashi Gate, turn right e enter the shopping street Ekimo Umeda.
After passing in front of Minami Gate of Umeda Subway Station, turn left and head for Hankyu Department Store.
At the end of the passageway, turn right and enter Whity Umeda.
Keep going straight and enter South Mall.
After the Higashi-Umeda Station sign on the Subway Tanimachi Line, turn left.
Follow the passageway, and you will see Naka-Nishi Gate of Higashi-Umeda Station on the Subway Tanimachi Line.
After passing in front of Naka-Nishi Gate, you will see Naka-Higashi Gate of Higashi-Umeda Station.
