When heading to Umeda Station on the Subway Midosuji Line（御堂筋線梅田駅） from JR Osaka Station（JR大阪駅）, it is convenient to use Midosuji Gate（御堂筋口改札）of JR Osaka Station.
It takes about 2 minutes from Midosuji Gate of JR Osaka Station to Umeda Station.

Transfer at JR Osaka Station to Umeda Station on the Subway Midosuji Line
The details are as follows:
STEP
After getting out of Midosuji Gate, head to the escalator diagonally forward right
After getting out of Midosuji Gate, head to the escalator diagonally forward right.
STEP
After getting off the escalator, turn left
After getting off the escalator, turn left.
You will see the ticket gate of Umeda Station on the Subway Midosuji Line.
You will see Naka-Minami Gate（中南改札）on the right side, and Naka-Kita-Nishi Gate on the left side.
